About ME
It started with a pillowcase.
A hobby that grew
She has always been the one who could not throw things away. A curtain with a beautiful print, a pillowcase from her grandmother, a wool coat that no longer fitted: they all ended up in a box, waiting for a new purpose.
One evening she took out the sewing machine and turned an old pillowcase into a bag. Friends asked where she had bought it. Then they asked if she could make one for them too.
Old materials, new life
Every bag starts with material that already had a life: curtains, bed linen, jackets, upholstery fabric and leftovers from other projects. She washes it, cuts it and combines it with sturdy lining and strong handles, so the bag is ready for years of use.
Because the materials are found rather than bought by the roll, most designs can be made only once. That is exactly what she loves about it: nobody else will carry the same bag.
Made by hand, one at a time
There is no factory and no mass production. Every bag is cut, sewn and checked by the same pair of hands. It takes more time, and it is worth it.
